What we collect and how we use it
When placing an order
To place an order online, you will be asked to register for an account. When you register we’ll ask you for your name, billing/delivery address, email address and a contact number. We will also ask for these details if you decide to place your order over the phone.
We’ll need to take a credit card number, expiry date and any other security information your card processor might need. We use Sagepay and Paypal for secure payments, as well as V12 for finance applications, however, your card details are never stored by us and our site is fully secure.
Once you’ve placed your order, your order details (products purchased, billing/delivery address, contact number/email) are passed to our dispatch team who use this information to pick and pack your order. We may use the contact details you have provided to contact you regarding your order. You contact details may also be used by our couriers to arrange delivery with you. Our orders are sent out via DPD and Royal Mail.
To send you marketing emails
When registering for an account, you have the option to sign up to our e-newsletter. You may also receive an invitation to sign up to our e-newsletter when visiting the site via a pop-up window or verbally if you are placing an order over the phone. If you opt in to receive our e-newsletter, your details will be added to a secure email database. We use Mailchimp as our marketing automation platform. This database is only accessed by our marketing team. We never share or sell your details to third parties.
If you’d like to unsubscribe, you can do so at any point. You’ll find the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email you receive from us. We are also available to help over the phone or via email. Just contact us on 01254 822062 or email@example.com and we’ll remove your details from the database upon your request.
