Delivery & Shipping Procedures
We aim to dispatch your order the same day providing the item is in stock and the order is placed before 2pm.
We aim to have your order with you within 3-5 working days (next day if express delivery selected), on the rare occasion that the item is out of stock, we will contact you quoting a new delivery date at which point you will have the opportunity to cancel your order if you are not happy with the time quoted.
All of our orders are dispatched in plain bags or boxes depending on order size, this allows for an element of secrecy for the buyer where you may be buying for a present. All our items are sent in their relevant branded packaging.
All orders are sent via Royal Mail and are tracked or recorded.
Standard Delivery (UK)
We charge £2.99 for Standard Delivery on all orders. Orders are shipped via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery with an estimated shipping time of 3-5 working days.
Royal Mail Special Delivery (UK)**
We offer a guaranteed delivery service at a flat rate of £5.99. This is guaranteed for the next working day after your order is dispatched. Orders placed before 2pm will be dispatched the same day provided the item/s ordered are in stock.
**No orders are dispatched on Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays. Any orders placed at this time will be dispatched on the next working day.**
Saturday Guaranteed Delivery
We offer a guaranteed Saturday delivery at £9.99. Delivery is guaranteed by 1pm Saturday (on orders placed before 2pm Friday).
In the unlikely event that any of the item/s ordered are temporarily out of stock, you will be notified of the anticipated shipping date.
Collection from our Sarah Layton shop:
If you would prefer, you can choose to collect your order from our Sarah Layton shop. You must bring photographic identification with you (i.e. drivers licence or passport), along with proof of address. We will let you know when the order is ready to collect via email.
As per UK orders, all orders are normally dispatched the same day, if the item is in stock and the order is placed before 2pm.
International shipping can take up to 14 days.
Shipping on orders to countries within the EU are charged at £12.99. Heavy items (as indicated) may be charged at a higher rate, you will be contacted if this applies.
Rest of the World
Shipping on orders to all other countries are charged at £19.99. Heavy items (as indicated) may be charged at a higher rate, you will be contacted if this applies.

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
The prices quoted include UK tax at a rate of 20% for orders made from the UK or the European Union.
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach Lloyds TSB Cardnet Merchant Services. They are not held by Sarah Layton's Online Jewellers or any third party except for TSB Cardnet Merchant Services.
Making a Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from the U.K. or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency. We accept Visa, American Express, and MasterCard and PayPal.
All our orders are handled via Sage pay using 128bit Encryption, this is 100% secure. The payment is taken at the point of ordering not the point of delivery, if we are unable to supply an item we will contact you with an option to refund the money or supply an alternative item.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice.
We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
